Welcome Back League Golfers:
Can you believe that spring is here and golf is just around the corner? It has been a long off season.
I would like to thank you for your continued patronage and look forward to seeing all of you.
Solid league attendance has allowed us to continue our tradition of not collecting total green fees prior to season start. We will also maintain our current green fee of $13. With this competitive rate, the entire golf season costs a mere $182.
We take pride in offering a laid-back setting. However, there are obvious rules and regulations to adhere to: Proper dress is expected; maintaining pace of play is required; no alcoholic beverages are to be brought onto the property; absolutely no drinking in the parking lot.
This season I have incorporated monthly Club Tournaments and promotional specials geared toward league players. I hope you will take advantage of these fun events and reduced rates. Please check out our calendar for information.
Our goal is to remain competitive and offer the best value for your “golfing” dollar. Thank you for your support of the Berlin Country Club. It is going to be a great season.

The 2018 B.C.C Inclement Weather Policy:
Unfortunately, the weather doesn’t always cooperate. We will make every effort to accommodate all parties involved.
1. League presidents have the option of cancelling a weekly match due to inclement weather. Cancelled weeks need to be rescheduled or used as a group absence.
2. The course remains open for play if it is deemed playable by our grounds crew.
A playable course is determined by the amount of water that has not permeated through the top layer of the greens. Just because it is raining does not mean leagues are cancelled.
Our crew reviews the length of time steady heavy rain has been coming down and if it will continue 2 hours after each league’s start time.
3. A playable course is also determined by the presence of thunder and lightning.
Leagues will be cancelled if a thunder storm lasts longer than 1 half hour during play time. Rain checks will be issued for rescheduled weeks.
4. The announcement of an unplayable course will be made 30 minutes prior to each individual league’s start time to league president.
5. We will use intellicast.com for Doppler and NECN weather to decide if the weather will impede play.
